DC comics hot off the heels of Dark Knight Rises, and next summer’s Superman movie called, The Man Of Steel, saw what  Avengers did at the box office, being the 3rd highest grossing movie of all time. So not to be out done, DC thinks Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Martian Manhunter, and Aquaman would all make a great movie together. Justice League has the household names everyone mostly knows and could top Avengers if done right, so while they are vetting directors to take on this HUGE event. So who did they pick to direct this epic event, was it Steven Spielberg? James Cameron? Martin Scorsese? Christopher Nolan? David Fincher? Darren Aronofsky? Peter Jackson? No, any of those would be too easy, DC feels that the actor who previously played Daredevil, Ben Affleck is the right director for Justice League.
