Let me get this straight… The government makes birth control artificially expensive by passing laws making it prescription-only, then sets up a bunch of patent laws on it effectively creating a cartel of birth controls that are unaffordable to many women. Yet now we need a law that has that government pay for said birth control – pay the artificially high prices for a product they’re restricting – pay these higher prices to the corporations that lobbied for the laws that make it expensive in the first place?
